Our core components provide mechanisms for outreach into communities to provide, and create greater awareness of the beneficial resources. We focus on developing projects that offer long-term community and economic sustainability, a major component of TGCDC’s strategic planning. Maintaining our mission to promote economic growth, community health, and community sustainability, allows our clients opportunities, and options for job training and job creation along with small business growth and capacity building initiatives through micro-lending providing available affordable financial capital. The communities in our service area have minimal access to capital, high rates of underemployment, unemployment, and low wage jobs. We strive to maintain and offer accountability to our target market for sustainability, access to health coverage, upward career mobility, financial and educational empowerment in new arenas that include green workforce development models in the green arena that greatly impact community innovation.
