A former Corporate Executive experienced in both domestic and international supply chain, Petural ‘PJ’ Shelton is a very capable leader, a valued team member, and a motivating force in any team effort.
Ms. Shelton is a credentialed sales and training professional with decades of experience in global trade and logistics, managing and directing sales teams for leaders such as FedEx, Emery Worldwide, Exel and Roadway (RPS) before becoming an adjunct professor in the Peralta Community College District, instructing in the ATLAS Program for students transitioning into new career paths. She serves as Vice President, Education on the board of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) dynamic San Francisco Roundtable (www.cscmpsfrt.org), and is an active member of the National Association of Female Executives, the National Transportation Association / NDTA, Greater Bay Area Transportation Club, Women in Transportation, Women in Logistics, the Northern California Human Resource Council and has served as County Commissioner – Contra Costa County AC5 – Arts and Cultural Commission of Contra Costa County as well as County Commissioner – First Five of Contra Costa County – Children’s Advocacy Group. In classroom settings she is adept at facilitating interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skill development that reduces the most difficult conversations to meaningful and action-oriented dialogue.
