As CLP’s Director of College and Career Pathways, Jennielyn is responsible for developing effective high school to college transition and career pathway strategies statewide. Her experience spans both K12 and Community College as well as workforce development agencies. Previously, Jennielyn was the Workforce and Economic Development Coordinator at the Oakland Unified School District where she has been the district’s lead on developing and aligning partnerships between OUSD, the City of Oakland, the Workforce Investment Board, Chambers of Commerce and employers. In prior years, she worked with Contra Costa College supporting industry partnerships, career awareness and work readiness preparation for the Career Advancement Academies focused on Clean Energy and Hybrid Automotive Training and Emergency Medical Services. She’s worked with West Contra Costa Unified School District and Emeryville Unified to develop and support internship programming and placements for an array of high school career academies across the region. She is a graduate of Gonzaga University, University of San Francisco and UC Berkeley.
